Failed attempt on Frampton Pill

0730 Avocet already afloat. 8:11 Left mooring 8:30 In Cooling Pond with very little wind. 9:03 Hill Flats S2 cloudy The target of Frampton looked increasingly difficult after a very slow upriver drift. Hence 9:45 Into Berkeley with Tony helming up to head of Pill 10:20 Left pill 10:30 Ventured into unnamed small pill behind Rose Rock so named it Rose Pill. 10:45 Left Rose Pill after resorting to oars 11:50 Into Oldbury Pill after enjoying sunny SW 3 most of the way back But we did enter and name a new pill after the rock on the chart.
