0730 No water in Pill at all
0835 Tide rushing in like a river. Slid down the mud below Floating Jetty but really struggled to get the short distance downstream as the current was so strong.
0845 Finally got aboard Avocet
0905 Left Pill
09:20 Near Counts NNW 3-4
10:05 Sharpness after sailing through a large patch of significant standing waves.
1020 Purton. Wind now all over the place.
1100 Went through another area of standing waves just after Purton and approached the shore near the Noose bend. As we did so it was apparent that we were running out of water even with the plate almost up. Very little wind. Anchored to the mud lined sandy beach briefly and decided to abort Bullo.
1135 By sailing close to the shore we managed to sail into and up Brims Pill to anchor to the shore.
1150 After final coffee set off downsream in NW 3
1230 Sharpness NW 4+
13:20 Into Oldbury Pill with plenty of water

14:30 Would have been the last ditch approach to Avocet's mooring
